Who we are
This website, wolfizer.com, belongs to Wolfizer Technologies, a registered Indian company that builds business software for distributors, wholesalers, chain retailers, super stockists, brands and e-commerce sellers. In this policy, “Wolfizer”, “we” and “us” mean Wolfizer Technologies, and “you” means the person visiting the site or writing to us.
For your personal data that we collect through this website, we decide why and how it is used. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”) that makes us the Data Fiduciary, and you the Data Principal.
You can reach us at viren@wolfizer.com or +91 82084 65439.
What this policy covers
This policy covers personal data we collect through this website and through conversations you start with us: on WhatsApp, by email or by phone.
It does not cover the business data that a company keeps inside its own Wolfizer platform, such as its parties, retailers, staff, orders and invoices. That data belongs to that company, and we handle it on its behalf under a written service agreement. See Data inside the platform.
What we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us, plus the small amount of technical detail needed to keep the site working and free of spam.
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your name, mobile number, and email if you give it | You fill in an enquiry form | To reply to you and arrange the free diagnosis |
| About your business: company, city, business type, current software, team size, the problems you tick, your message and how you prefer us to contact you | You fill in an enquiry form (most of these are optional) | To understand your business before we speak |
| Your consent, and the time you gave it | You tick the consent box | To show that you agreed to be contacted |
| Which form you used, on which page, and when | You send a form | To know what you asked about |
| A scrambled code made from your internet (IP) address | You send a form | To stop repeated or automated submissions. It is a scrambled code; we do not store the address itself with your enquiry |
| What you tell us, with your number or email address and the name on your account | You message us on WhatsApp, email us or call us | To reply and keep track of the conversation |
| Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, the page asked for and the time | Any visit, recorded by our hosting provider | To keep the site secure and running |
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, bank or card details, passwords, Aadhaar or PAN numbers, or health information through this website.
Cookies and your browser
This website uses no analytics, no tracking cookies and no advertising pixels. We do not follow you around the web, build a profile of you or show you ads.
The only thing the site saves in your browser is your light or dark theme choice, and only if you press the theme button. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can clear it any time from your browser settings.
Our typefaces load from Google Fonts. To show them, your browser connects to Google’s font servers, which receive your IP address as part of that request. We send Google nothing else.
Why we use it
We use your personal data only to:
- Respond to your enquiry, by the method you prefer: a call, WhatsApp or email.
- Run the free business diagnosis: understand how your orders, billing, stock and payments work today, and where they leak.
- Prepare a proposal, if you ask for one, with the modules you need and what we would configure or build.
- Communicate about the service, if we go on to work together: setup, training, support and important updates.
- Keep the website secure, and meet our legal obligations.
We do not use your data for any other purpose without asking you first. We do not add you to marketing lists, and we do not sell, rent or trade your data. Ever.
The legal basis
The DPDP Act allows personal data to be used in two ways that apply here:
- Your consent. When you tick the consent box on our form, you agree that we may contact you about your enquiry. Your consent covers that purpose only. You can withdraw it any time, as easily as you gave it: write to viren@wolfizer.com or reply “stop” on WhatsApp. We will then stop contacting you. Withdrawing does not undo anything done lawfully before.
- Legitimate uses. When you message, email or call us yourself, you have chosen to give us your details for a clear purpose, and we use them for that purpose. We may also use or keep data where the law, a court or a government authority requires it.
Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. We share it only in these cases:
- Service providers who help us run things: website hosting, email, font delivery (Google Fonts), and the official WhatsApp Business Platform when you message us there. They handle data only to provide their service to us. When you use WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy also apply.
- When the law requires it: to comply with a legal obligation, a court order or a lawful request from a government authority.
- If Wolfizer is restructured: if our company is merged or reorganised, your data would move only with the protections in this policy.
Some of these providers may store or process data outside India. We use them only where the DPDP Act permits such transfers.
Data inside the Wolfizer platform
When a business uses the Wolfizer platform, that business decides what data goes in and why: its parties, retailers, salesmen and other staff, orders, invoices, ledgers and payments. For that data:
- The business is in control. It is the Data Fiduciary. We act as its Data Processor, handling the data only on its behalf and on its instructions, under our written service agreement.
- A private instance. Each business gets its own private instance with its own database, never shared with another business.
- Limited access. Our team opens it only to set up, support and maintain the system, or when the business asks us to. We do not use that data for our own marketing.
- Role-based logins. Each person in the business sees only what their role needs, and every change is logged with who and when.
- WhatsApp messages sent from the platform go through the official WhatsApp Business Platform using approved message templates. Opt-outs are respected.
- The business can export its data to Excel at any time. When the service ends, it can export everything and ask us to delete it, as the service agreement sets out.
If your details sit in a business’s Wolfizer platform (for example, you are a retailer who orders from them), please contact that business first about your data. We will help them answer your request.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for:
- Enquiries and conversations: while we are talking to you and following up. If we go on to work together, for as long as that relationship lasts.
- Consent records: for as long as we need to show that you agreed to be contacted.
- Server logs: for a limited period set by our hosting provider, for security.
After that we delete the data, or remove what identifies you, unless the law requires us to keep it longer (for example, tax and accounting records). If you withdraw consent or ask us to delete your data, we do so unless the law requires us to keep it.
How we protect it
We follow reasonable security practices, as the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules expect:
- Every page and form on this site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
- Enquiries are stored in a private, locked-down location on our server, and only our team can open them.
- Spam protection uses a scrambled code instead of your IP address.
- On the platform: a private instance per business, encrypted connections for every app, separate logins per role, an audit log of changes and regular backups. The link to Tally runs over a private encrypted tunnel, not an open port.
No system is perfectly secure. If a personal data breach affects your data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India, as the DPDP Act requires, and explain what we are doing about it.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- Access: a summary of the personal data we hold about you, how we use it, and who we have shared it with.
- Correction: fix, complete or update data that is wrong or out of date.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your data, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Withdraw consent: at any time, as easily as you gave it.
- Grievance redressal: complain to us and get a response. See Grievances.
- Nominate: name someone who can use these rights for you if you die or cannot act yourself.
To use any of these rights, write to viren@wolfizer.com from the email address you used with us, or message us on WhatsApp from the number you used. We may ask you to confirm it is you before we act. There is no charge.
Grievances
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, tell us. You can reach our Grievance Officer here:
Grievance Officer, Wolfizer Technologies
We acknowledge every grievance in writing within 7 days, tell you who is handling it and what happens next, and send you our response within 30 days of receiving it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, as the DPDP Act provides.
Children
This website is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us their details, write to us and we will delete them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top always shows when it took effect. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you before it applies, and ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
